Priscilla Garza-Stewart, MSW, LCSW
Co-Founder and President

Mrs. Stewart is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, State of California with a specialization in mental health. She earned a Master’s of Social Work degree from UCLA, and is educated, trained and experienced in working with diverse populations in a homeless mental health clinic as well as in acute and psychiatric inpatient hospital settings. She has served the homeless, those at-risk of homelessness, those with low-income, the mentally ill, the chemically dependent, mentally ill veterans and the developmentally disabled. Some of her expertise includes providing crisis intervention, assessment for suicide risk; substance abuse assessment/counseling and referral; trauma counseling; and abuse reporting while remaining sensitive to cultural diversity. It is her desire to serve the underprivileged and disadvantaged in an effort to relieve their suffering.

 

 

William M. Stewart, PE, MSACS
Co-Founder

Mr. Stewart is a California licensed civil engineer with a master’s degree in computer science. He also has advanced degree work in cross-cultural studies. Mr. Stewart has taught computer science and physical science in a university setting where a large number of students were from other cultures. He has worked overseas building medical facilities and drilling water wells in barrio and village areas. He has volunteered with the L.A. County jail system for thirteen years serving in a variety of facilities. He also has volunteered with the M2M (Man to Man) program to outreach to prisoners.
